At Pawsh Paws Atlanta, we take the safety and well-being of your pets seriously. In addition to a rigorous interview process and thorough reference checks, we conduct nationwide criminal background and driving record checks for all potential hires. Our team members are trained in safe pet handling, proper dog harness installation, safe pet transportation, and dog walking safety policies to ensure your pets are in the best hands.

Yes! All new clients will have a complimentary meeting with a member of our management team before services begin. This allows us the opportunity to meet you and your pet, and for you to show us their "routine." We want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible and to build a strong relationship with their caregiver, which is why we assign one dedicated Pawsh Pawfessional per pet. We will personally introduce your pet to their Pawsh Pawfessional and walk them through their routine. If you'd like to meet each of your walkers, we’re happy to arrange that for a nominal fee of $10 for each “meet and greet” scheduled after your initial meeting.
Our Pawsh Pawfessionals use a state-of-the-art, GPS-enabled mobile app to check in and out of each service, so you’ll receive a notification every time your walker or sitter completes a visit. You’ll also get a detailed report at the end of each visit, including GPS tracking of your dog’s walk and photos. We highly encourage clients to download the app, making it easy to track visits, schedule services, and receive real-time updates directly on your smartphone.
Yes. We ask that you provide veterinary records and a rabies certificate to ensure your pet is up to date with all required vaccinations before we begin services.
In the event of an emergency, we will first attempt to contact you or your emergency contact. If we are unable to reach either of you while you're traveling, it becomes our responsibility to ensure your pet receives the necessary care. If we determine that a vet visit is required, we will take your pet to your regular provider. If it’s after hours or your vet is unavailable, we will take them to the nearest emergency center. If your vet does not have a credit card on file, you will need to reimburse Pawsh Paws Atlanta for any expenses incurred, at our discretion.
Once your account is activated, you can securely add your credit card or checking account information to your profile.
For regularly scheduled, recurring walks, clients are billed weekly after services are completed. Invoices are sent out on Fridays, and your payment method on file will be charged that following Sunday unless alternate arrangements have been made. Invoices cover services provided from the Saturday prior to the Friday invoice date.
Pawsh Paws Atlanta requires a 50% deposit two weeks prior to the start of any pet or cat-sitting services. The remaining balance will be invoiced and must be paid in full 48 hours prior to the start of services.
Please note, that all credit card transactions are subject to a processing fee of 3% per transaction, and ACH payments incur a 1.5% processing fee.
A $15 fee will be charged for each credit card chargeback or ACH denial. Services may be withheld until payment is made in full.
Absolutely! Regular clients who consistently book five or more midweek walks each week will receive a 15% discount through our Pawsh Perks program. This discount is available exclusively for regularly scheduled weekly walks, allowing us to assign a Pawsh Pawfessional with a consistent schedule. Please note, that this does not apply to "ad hoc" clients who have sporadic requests, such as every other week, walks for a month, or extra walks added during a trip to your regular Pawsh Perks visits.
We also offer discounted midday check-ins for clients who book overnight pet-sitting services!
